IF GUESTS FAIL TO DISCLOSE NUMBER OF GUESTS ATTENDING, ANY SECURITY DEPOSIT THAT IS HELD WILL BE FORFEITED AND GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE IMMEDIATELY WITHOUT A REFUND (NO additional guests are allowed to come up for the day other than whoever is disclosed on reservation)
- Guests agree to cover any charge related to damages that occurred during their stay or cover necessary extra-cleaning charges if needed after their stay.
- Please do not pour grease or food down the drain. Nothing can be flushed down the toilet including toilet paper, wipes, Kleenex, dental floss, sanitary items, diapers or anything of that nature, as they may cause damage to the septic tank.
- Please do not park your vehicles on the grass / septic tank, this may also cause damage.
- Guests may be required to provide a government ID on the day of check-in or during the stay.
- Please avoid moving furniture. Return any furniture to its original position if moved.
- Do not cut or damage any trees at the cottage. Use the provided wood and ensure fire is doused with water before retiring for the evening.
- The water source is from the lake, filtered but not drinkable. There’s a water dispenser, and you are encouraged to bring your own drinking water.
- Sleeping outdoors including in tents or trailers is not permitted.
- Guests must not disable or unplug any electronic device including TVs, or the security system.
- Guests must be mindful of potential risks including recreational equipment. Guests assume the risks of their use.
- Owner is not responsible for causes outside of their control such as utility outage, or other equipment failures. While owners will do their best to make such repairs as soon as possible, a reservation may be cancelled or terminated by the host for reasons outside our control such as where necessary to make repairs, a safety concern, or to comply with law.
- Please note all water sports and activities are to be used at your own risk! There will be various lifejackets to use, however, it is mandatory that anyone who uses the watercraft must wear a lifejacket. It is encouraged to bring your own to guarantee a lifejacket will fit.
