INSIDE Cottage is open concept. A spacious and fully equipped kitchen means every chef in the group can lend a hand in preparing meals. Dine al fresco or in a sunny nook, then retire to the living area to relax and reconnect.
Gather around the gas fireplace play a game. Or chill with your favorite girlfriend in the separate sitting area overlooking lake.
WiFi is available, though most guests opt to pore over novels in front of the fireplace or grab a cold drink from the beverage fridge and a handcrafted board game from the Michaud Toys collection. You’ll also have access to all the necessary amenities, including a washer and dryer.
NOTE: there is no TV but feel free to bring your own device. WIFI speed is approx 50mpbs
OUTSIDE Make a fire in the backyard, grill up some steaks, and gossip over a cup of hot chocolate.
NOTE: depending on water levels there may be a small amount of beach but there is always lots of beach on the wall (see pics there's lots of room to play and chillax) Although there is access to the beach, it can be slippery. Take approx 80 stairs down your private access to the lake. The lakebed can be sandy or stoney depending on what the lake gives you that day. But it sure is fun to try to find the ever changing sandbars. Even if it's stoney...it's fun to go stone collecting - Lake Huron is a geologists paradise! Just bring some water shoes. The nice thing is, it's not weedy or slimy at all.

Wander downtown and find your new favorite cafe, and be sure to save a day to explore Bayfield's wineries and breweries! Just a few minutes away, you can enjoy an amazing wine tasting experience at Hessenland Inn & Schatz Winery.
You're just 5 minutes from White Squirrel Golf Club, perfect for a round on the lush summer greens or a laid-back afternoon at their patio restaurant. Downtown Bayfield is only 5 minutes away—browse the charming boutiques and enjoy a refreshing drink at one of the quaint cafes.
Note: All Guests are required to sign a separate cottage rental agreement and provide government issued photo id. Including names and ages of all guests who will occupy the property. Primary renter must be over 25 photo id is required. Only those occupants listed on the Rental Agreement, are allowed to occupy the property. A separate security deposit of $500 is required. Max 1 Dog Allowed
Linens are available for $20/per person. This includes Tea Towels, Dishcloths, Sheets & Pillowcases, Bathroom towels, Hand towels and Face cloths. Does not include Beach Towels.
Our Winter Weather Cancellation Policy is designed with your safety in mind. If winter conditions make travel unsafe or if there are road closures preventing you from reaching the cottage, you have flexible options: ❄ Delay Your Arrival – If the cottage is available, you can shift your stay by a day or two. ❄ Reschedule – Move your booking to a future date that works for you. ❄ Full Refund – If rescheduling isn’t possible, you can cancel for a full refund.
