Pro members of Lake receive greater visibility on the platform, invitations to special events, and access to more promotional opportunities than other membership types.
Pro members can link to their business website from their Lake.com listing. The website that you link to must be about the property in your Lake listing and in accordance with Lake.com’s community guidelines.
A verified badge will appear on your profile, indicating that you are a trustworthy host in good standing on the platform.
No commission fees are charged to you as a host on listings you have upgraded to Pro. If a guest books your vacation rental on Lake using the platform, they will be charged a 3% service fee to cover the processing of the credit card transaction.
An online booking is completed through Lake.com, where the guest pays a 3% service fee for processing their credit card on the platform. A direct booking is when a guest books with you directly using your website link and completes the transaction off the platform. For direct bookings, you assume full responsibility for the booking, payment, and so on.
You might want to keep a booking on Lake for many reasons, including your communications being stored in one place, the convenience of billing with Stripe, support from the Lake team should the need arise, and the ability to give and receive feedback ratings and reviews. Bookings made off the platform do not receive official Lake.com ratings and reviews, or support from the Lake team.
Pro is available for $499 USD per year, per listing. This membership is billed annually.
You can upgrade as many listings as you like to Pro. If you are a property manager interested in a bulk discount, contact us, and we will connect with you on a quote.
Membership payments to Lake are made in US Dollars (USD). You will also receive payment in USD for bookings you have completed on the Lake platform.
