The primary difference between Preferred and Pro memberships is that Pro members can link to their business website to accept direct bookings and receive premium placement on the Lake homepage and city pages. A direct booking is when a guest books with you directly using your website link and completes the transaction off the platform. The host assumes full responsibility for the booking, payment, and so on for direct bookings.
When a guest books with you on Lake.com, you can rate and review your experience with each other. Ratings and reviews inform the community and help to build trust. They also lend credibility that puts guests at ease, and vice versa for hosts! Bookings made off the platform do not receive official Lake.com ratings or reviews.
Preferred is available for $99 USD per year, per listing. This membership is billed annually.
You can upgrade as many listings as you like to Preferred. If you are a property manager interested in a bulk discount, contact us, and we will connect with you on a quote.
Membership payments to Lake are made in US Dollars (USD). You will also receive payment in USD for bookings you have completed on the Lake platform.
