Shadow Lakehouse is a retreat located in Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom, designed with influences from Scandinavian minimalism and Japanese aesthetics. The space integrates minimalist design with curated pieces from the 70s and 80s, featuring corners reminiscent of Japanese listening bars from that era. The house is positioned in front of Shadow Lake, with expansive windows in every room offering direct views of the water and surrounding forest.

The lakehouse is set in a region known for its remote, unspoiled landscapes, shaped by deep snow in winter and winding trails in summer. It offers access to year-round outdoor activities, from skiing at Jay Peak and Burke Mountain to mountain biking on the Kingdom Trails. The area is also home to small-scale food producers, with a focus on local cheese, craft beer, and sustainable farming.
